Dee was born near Nashville, TN to a musical family; father Duane Allen is a
member of country music legends The Oak Ridge Boys and his mother, Norah Lee,
is a member of the Carol Lee Singers back-up group on the Grand Ole Opry. Dee
pursued many interests as a youth including karate, comic-book art and cooking.
Once he picked up a guitar at age 15, his future path was set.
Dee spent many years appearing in Nashville clubs, both as a solo artist, and with
his rock band Tall Dark Stranger. He briefly sang baritone with the Oak Ridge Boys
and performed on their TNN series, “Live From Las Vegas .”
Dee is currently in his sixth season as a Branson performer, and is working on the
